At 3:14 pm on Tuesday January 5th 2016 Valley City Fire Department responded to a reported house fire on Columbia Rd. When they arrived on scene they found heavy fire visible in the rear of the structure. They quickly made an exterior attack then moved to an interior attack on the fire. The fire was under control at 1634. Brunswick Hills FD, Brunswick FD, Grafton FD, Erhart FD, LST, and the Medina County Fire Investigation Task Force assisted at the fire.
